I asked my
mother why she chose my dad
She said it
was simple...'cause he was the man
She loved
with her heart… and that someday...he’d give her a chance
When he was young, he went off to war
And then he
returned… but she wanted more
He stole
her heart…in that moment…he asked her to dance

Before he

Here was her moment...she’d always dreamed of

She knew

her roses…along with his smile
And then
they would laugh… and after a while
He looked
in her eyes… and she knew… when he gave her that glance

That
